LUNE — casual conversation moment
OUR CAST

Our Cast

A small, friendly team — not a glamorous performance.

Most foreigners arriving in Tokyo aren't sure what to expect from a Tokyo lounge. So here's the honest version: at LUNE, we're a small group of 12–15 amateur (素人) hosts on rotation each night. Casual, natural, real — and very deliberately not the polished kyabakura style you may have seen on signs around Roppongi.

We're a lounge — not a kyabakura.

The styling difference, side by side.

Three things that define our cast

Two glasses being clinked across a marble table — casual conversation moment

Amateur (素人), not professional performers

Our hosts are 素人 (shirouto, "amateur"). They're young women working casually — often with day jobs or studies — not career hostesses trained in scripted charm. You'll meet someone you can actually talk to about Tokyo, food, music, your trip.

Casual style — no glamour

Cream cashmere cardigans, simple natural makeup, delicate jewellery. No sequined dresses, no elaborate updos, no formal kyabakura uniform. The vibe is "we got dressed nicely for an evening with friends," not "we're putting on a show."

Young, friendly, English-comfortable

A small curated group of young women who genuinely enjoy meeting visitors from abroad. Comfortable enough with English to hold a real conversation, including small talk about your hotel, where you're from, why you're in Tokyo.

How rotation works

Hosts rotate between suites every 15–20 minutes. Over a 60-minute visit, you'll typically meet 3 or 4 different hosts — by design, so you naturally find someone you click with. If you'd like to keep one specific host the whole time, that's called nomination (指名) and is available with an additional charge.

Why we don't show cast photos

Our hosts are amateur (素人), not full-time professional cast. We protect their privacy by not publishing portrait photos online — the description above is the most honest representation we can offer. When you arrive, our staff will introduce you to the hosts on shift that night, and the rotation begins from there.
